Sprocket School is a collection of suggested best practices for film exhibition in the 21st century. It is intended to be a practical resource for exhibitors, projectionists, archivists, programmers, and curators who want to safely continue projecting analog motion picture film of every gauge long into the future.

NOTE: This project is currently in development. Many articles are currently just sketches of information to be included and may contain a bullet list of topics we'd like to cover. The eventual goal is to compile both original information (encompassing differences in how things are done in different booths, but with an eye toward responsible digital-era film handling and handling of archival prints) and links to outside resources.

If you want to contribute, email info@sprocketschool.org with your suggestions or your desired username. If you already have a username but are uncomfortable with the wiki format, feel free to send us content and we can add it for you.
