Sprocket School is an experimental wiki-style compilation of information about non-digital film handling, film projection, and film exhibition. It is intended to be a resource for exhibitors and archivists who want to safely continue projecting analog motion picture film of every gauge long into the future.
It is a project of the Chicago Film Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of film in its original formats.
